The Loole Privacy Policy explains how Loole(“Loole” “we” “us”) process any personal data we collect from visitors and users of our application and any applications, services provided in relation to our application (collectively, the “Loole Service”). We value the privacy of users, subscribers, members, and others who visit and use the Loole Services (collectively or individually, “you” or “users”) and want you to be familiar with how we collect, use, and disclose personal information from and about you.AR

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

1.Information You Choose to Provide Us

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Services, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise when you contact us. The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the Services, the choices you make, and the products and features you use.

Registration information, such as usernames, passwords, contact preferences, email addresses (if applicable), user identifier and language;

Profile information, such as your date of birth, profile images, gender, city, self-introduction (if applicable);

Social media information, we may provide you with the option to register with us using your existing social media account details, like your Facebook,  or other social media account.

User-generated contents (“UGC”), such as comments, texts, messages, pictures, images, videos, sounds, or other data or materials that you upload, distribute or stream on the App when you use Loole Services;

Geolocation Information. We may request access or permission to track location-based information from your mobile device, either continuously or while you are using our mobile application(s), to provide certain location-based services. If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device's settings.

Mobile Device Access. We may request access or permission to certain features from your mobile device, including your mobile device's camera, contacts, microphone, social media accounts, and other features. If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device's settings.

Push Notifications. We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or certain features of the application(s). If you wish to opt out from receiving these types of communications, you may turn them off in your device's settings.

Your opt-in choices and correspondence with us, such as information used to verify with your account or to resolve your feedback or complaints; and

Information you provide when participating in in-app surveys and activities.

Real name authentication. When you use real identity authentication services, you need to provide identity information such as your ID card or biometric information such as facial features (all of which are personal sensitive information) to complete the specific product service requirements or require real person authentication to verify the authenticity of the user's identity. You need to provide the following information for us to collect: identity information such as your ID card or biometric information such as facial features.

These pieces of information are personal sensitive information and are only used for real name authentication and for the purposes specified by laws and regulations. Without your explicit authorization, they will not be used for any other purposes. You can refuse to provide this information without affecting your normal use of other features of the product.

Identity information such as ID cards or biometric information such as facial features are sensitive information.If you do not provide this type of information, you may not be able to enjoy better service.

The above information you provide will continue to authorize us to use it during your use of this service. We will only store summary information of facial features, and the corresponding information will be saved until you cancel your account. When you cancel your account, we will stop using and delete the above information.

The steps to cancel the real name authentication function are: You can contact customer service through WhatsApp at [+62 823-1365-1232] (service hours: 10:00-24:00) to request cancellation of real name authentication. We will provide you with cancellation of real name authentication service after receiving your request.

· Live streaming and video connection via microphone.

When you use the Loole platform to watch live content or connect videos, your account, user nickname, avatar, gender, birthday, and interactive information in the live room (including but not limited to comments, tips, gifts, online status in the live room, etc.) will be publicly displayed in the live room. At the same time, we will generate statistical data (such as rankings, popularity, etc.) based on your interactive activity in the live room and display it publicly.

When you watch a live stream or connect your microphone to a video, we will request that you authorize camera and microphone permissions. If you refuse authorization, you will not be able to use the live streaming or video streaming services, but it will not affect your use of other features of Loole.

All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.

2.    Information We Get When You Use Our Services

When you use our services, we collect information about which of those services you’ve used and how you’ve used them. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes. We may collect information including but not limited to:

Mobile Device Data. We automatically collect device information (such as your mobile device ID, model, and manufacturer), operating system, version information and system configuration information, device and application identification numbers, browser type and version, hardware model Internet service provider and/or mobile carrier, and Internet Protocol (IP) address (or proxy server).

Information regarding your access to and use of other apps;

Cookies, small pieces of data to enable us to provide certain features, which are collected by us or our business partners to measure and understand the web pages you click on and how you use Loole Services, enhance your experience using Loole Services.

Log and Usage Data. Log and usage data is service-related, diagnostic, usage, and performance information our servers automatically collect when you access or use our Services and which we record in log files. Depending on how you interact with us, this log data may include your IP address, device information, browser type, and settings and information about your activity in the Services (such as the date/time stamps associated with your usage, pages and files viewed, searches, and other actions you take such as which features you use), device event information (such as system activity, error reports (sometimes called "crash dumps"), and hardware settings).

Location Data. We collect location data such as information about your device's location, which can be either precise or imprecise. How much information we collect depends on the type and settings of the device you use to access the Services. You can opt out of allowing us to collect this information either by refusing access to the information or by disabling your Location setting on your device. However, if you choose to opt out, you may not be able to use certain aspects of the Services.

HOW DO WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION?

We will not share your personal information with companies, organizations, or individuals outside of Loole service providers, except in the following circumstances:

1.Sharing with explicit consent: With your explicit consent, we will share your personal information with other parties;

2.Sharing under legal circumstances: We may share your personal information with external parties in accordance with laws and regulations, litigation dispute resolution needs, or as required by administrative or judicial authorities in accordance with the law;

3. Sharing with affiliated companies: In order for us to jointly provide services to you based on affiliated accounts, recommend information that you may be interested in, or protect the personal and property safety of Loole affiliated companies or other users or the public from infringement, your personal information may be shared with our affiliated companies (including Beijing Blueberry Season Technology Co., Ltd., Hunan Gaojia Network Information Co., Ltd. Beijing Branch). We will only share necessary personal information (such as sharing your necessary account information with affiliated companies to facilitate your use of our products or services through the Loole account). If we share your sensitive personal information or if affiliated companies change the purpose of using and processing your personal information, we will seek your authorization and consent again;

4.Shared with authorized partners: Only for the purposes stated in this privacy policy, some of our services will be jointly provided by us and authorized partners. We may share some of your personal information with our partners to provide better customer service and user experience. For example, arranging partners to provide services. We will only share your personal information for legal, legitimate, necessary, specific, and clear purposes, and will only share personal information necessary for providing services. Our partners have no right to use shared personal information for purposes unrelated to the product or service.

We send information to suppliers, service providers, and other partners who support our business, including providing technical infrastructure services, analyzing how our services are used, measuring the effectiveness of advertising and services, providing customer service, facilitating payment, or conducting academic research and surveys.

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Platform and for the other purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We also retain information when necessary to comply with contractual and legal obligations, when we have a legitimate business interest to do so (such as improving and developing the Platform, and enhancing its safety, security and stability), and for the exercise or defence of legal claims.

The retention periods are different depending on different criteria, such as the type of information and the purposes for which we use the information. For example, when we process your information such as your profile information to provide you with the Platform, we keep this information for as long as you have an account. If you violate our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or other conditions or policies, we may remove your profile and User Content from public view immediately, but may keep other information about you to process the violation.

HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION?

We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.

You may withdraw your consent to Loole 's disclosure of personal data to third parties. Upon your request, we will stop displaying, publishing, transmitting, disseminating, and/or opening the access to your personal data to third parties. Please note that by withdrawing your consent to the disclosure and/or collection of your personal data, we may not be able to fulfill your requests and you may not be able to use some of Loole features and functionality.

You may request Loole to erase your personal data that we have collected on our server. Please note that by requesting us to erase your personal data, you may not be able to use some of features and functionality.

If you would at any time like to delete your account, you can log in to your account settings and delete your user account. The path is as followsyou need to go to “Me——Account and Security——Account Cancellation”. We will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases. However, we may retain some information in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our legal terms and/or comply with applicable legal requirements.

In some regions (like the EEA, UK, and Canada), you have certain rights under applicable data protection laws. These may include the right (i) to request access and obtain a copy of your personal information, (ii) to request rectification or erasure; (iii) to restrict the processing of your personal information; and (iv) if applicable, to data portability. Our services are not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect or maintain personal information from persons under 18 years-of-age. About Permission Request and Usage Instructions

1.       In order to ensure the functionality, security, and stability of Loole, we may request or use certain permissions from the operating system.

2.       To safeguard your awareness, we present a list below of the permissions that the product may request or use. You can manage these permissions based on your actual needs.

3.       With product upgrades, the types and purposes of requested or used permissions may change. We will promptly adjust the list to keep you informed of permission requests and usage.

4.       Please be aware that, for business and product functionality and security, we may also use third-party SDKs. These third parties may request or use relevant operating system permissions.

 

Operating System Application Permissions List:

 

1.Read content from the SD card (Read storage/photos permission)

 

Permission Description: Provides the ability to read data from the phone's storage space.

Use Cases and Purposes: Allows the app to read content such as images and files from storage. Primarily used for assisting you in posting information, uploading images, files, and recording crash log information locally.

 

2.Write/Delete content to from the SD card (Write/Delete/Storeage/Photos permission)

 

Permission Description: Provides the ability to write to external storage.

Use Cases and Purposes: Allow the app to write/download/save/cache/modify/delete images, files, crash logs, and other information.

 

3.Read phone status and identity (Phone/Device permission)

 

Permission Description: Provides access to read device identification information. Please note that this permission cannot listen to or obtain any of your call content or information.

 

Use Cases and Purposes: Reads device call status and identification code to identify device ID, ensuring carrier network free-flow services, and supporting essential functions such as audio/video, information display, account login, and security.

4.Audio and Video Capture 

 

Permission Description: Capture audio and video image information.

Use Cases and Purposes: Used for capturing audio and image information during live streaming.

 

5.Photo and System Images 

 

Permission Description: Use camera and system album images and videos.

Use Cases and Purposes: Used for modifying and updating your own profile picture, and sharing favorite photos and videos with friends in instant messaging.
